Postcard Direct Mail Marketing Tips and Ideas

Postcards are perhaps the least expensive method of achieving a large number of people with your advertising message. Although they have their drawbacks, they are inexpensive to attract new customers. But only if you follow some simple rules that professional direct mail copywriter.

Draw their attention on Side A

Side A is the side with the picture on it. A beauty of a direct mail postcard is not that show your potential customers about them. There, in the morning post your message, which is seen by all. To make sure that you are somewhat on side A, that arrests the attention of your prospects. Here are some ideas:

1. a wacky photo

2. A photo of your product in an unusual setting

3. an outrageous (but true) claim

4. Their unique selling promise wisely said in a fascinating manner or

5. Their view of the problem (so that your product or service solves) given or presented in a convincing manner

The only goal of Side A is to attract attention and arouse interest. OK, so two targets. You need to motivate your prospect to turn around your postcard to the other side to read. To make sure a site is fascinating and interesting, but not tell your whole story.

Sell on Page B

Side B is the address and postage stamp. Here you create and why you want your readers to take action. You did not give much real estate on which your sales pitch, so keep your strongest benefit. Describe in a clear, persuasive language, what keeps your readers with the purchase of your product or service. You do not have enough space here to say, enough to make a sale to sell it so easy, the next step.

Ask about the next step, not the order

The next step in these days is often visit for the prospect to your website. This is a great use for direct mail marketing e-card: driving potential buyers to a specific page on your website (called a landing page) where you give the whole dog and pony show and the prospects for a convenient way to part with their money, if I may say it like that.

The next step may be to readers who call you, or your next business trip. Both good use of direct-response postcards. So make sure to say enough and take off in a manner strong enough on this side of the card in order to motivate a potential buyer to the listener or start heading in your direction. What brings us to your offer.

Imagine your offer irresistible

All pieces should direct mail offer contains. The offer is what you hang in front of prospects to motivate them to take the next step is to give her company.
